Is United Institute® currently a physical university?
No. Currently we are an online institute with an inclusive university collaboration with hopes to launch physical, scattered hometown university sites with an affordable and a Veteran-friendly curriculum. A number of our courses and suites are comparable to offerings at fully accredited colleges and universities.

Do you currently offer courses and certificates?
Yes. We offer many courses and certificates that aid leaders, professionals, managers, executives and educators.

Are all your courses online?
Yes. Currently all our courses are online.

Do I have to sign up for the entire certificate or may I take individual courses?
You may sign up for individual courses or you may sign up for the entire certificate program.

What are the advantages of signing up for an entire certificate program?
There are many advantages to signing up for an entire certificate program. One advantage is that it costs less to sign up for a certificate program that contains a bundle of courses than it does to sign up for multiple individual courses. Another advantage is that you will be able to print out your certificate after successful completion of the certificate program.

What do all the acronyms stand for?

- International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)
- Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
- Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) credits
- Certified Fund Raising Executives (CFRE) points
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDUs)
- Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits

When do I receive the course credit(s)?
Credits must be earned. Usually a minimum score of 70% on the course exam or an average of 70%, if the course has several exams, will entitle an individual to receive credit.
The credits earned in theses courses may not be transferrable to other schools. Please check with your school to find out if these courses are transferrable.

How long will I have access to the courses?
The access time for each course is listed on the course description page and often exceeds 30 days. If you have registered for multiple courses then the duration of time is cumulative. For example if you registered for 2 courses, each having 30 days of access time, then your access to both courses will be 60 days.

How can I sign up for a course?
To register for a course, simply click the add to cart icon at the course description page. Afterwards click the proceed to checkout icon and fill in your billing information. You will receive an email promptly thereafter containing your log in information and the access URL.

How many hours do I need to spend to complete the courses?
Most courses will likely require approximately 3-5 hours to complete.

Can I complete the courses at my own pace?
Yes. Courses can be completed at your own pace.

What are the general sectors represented among the invited college and university leaders?
Public civilian, private Judeo-Christian, nonprofit, and military educators.
